Job Title: Claims Examiner/Broker Claims Advocate
Job Type: Permanent Full Time
Job Location: Chilliwack, B.C
Position Overview: Zealots Consulting Inc. Executive Search is search for a highly motivated individual to assume the role of an intermediate claims examiner to handle commercial property and liability claims under in house claims authorities for our retained client. The position also includes a claims advocacy role for our retained client’s involvement in the handling of internal Error and Omissions matters.
What you need to bring to the table:
- 5+ years of claims adjusting /examining or brokerage experience handling personal lines and commercial lines property and liability claims or sales
- Completion or near completion of the CIP program
- Effective Time Management and organizational skills
- Excellent working knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques involved in the handling of General Insurance claims
- Great verbal and written communication skills – knowledge of good business English (spelling, punctuation, grammar)
- Excellent working knowledge of the Insurance Act, the ADR process, provincial statutes relevant to claims, and the litigation procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of property and liability policy wordings
- The need to go that extra mile and exceed customers expectations
- Self Drive to solve problems and provide timely feedback
- Proficient computer literacy
