Job Summary:
The Underwriting Technical Specialist – Commercial Auto, assists with both strategic and business as usual initiatives to achieve profitability.
As Subject Matter Expert assist with:
- Strategic Initiatives, including technological advancements
- Rate and Product Development
- Regulatory Changes and Reporting
- Company Benchmarks and Customer Engagement
- Mentoring and Developing team members
- Leading/participating in periodic Work Reviews
- Fostering Positive Relationships with internal & external parties
You bring to the table:
- 7 years’ Commercial Auto underwriting experience
- University or College grad
- CIP is an asset
- Strong leadership skills to positively influence team members and provide direction
- Excellent analytical, problem solving & decision-making skills
- Expert communication skills with the ability to present information in a convincing manner
- Strong ability to multi-task and monitor progress to meet deadlines
