RAISE Underwriting is an independently owned, Canadian Managing General Agent (MGA), dedicated to being an industry-leading supplier of risk insurance and surety products through transparency, honesty, and integrity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The accurate and timely preparation of project security documents for Tarion bonds, deposit protection insurance, and other surety products
Coordinating with Surety partners and solicitors to ensure timely registration of security
Reviewing cost consultant report and data entry of draw information
Ensuring all correspondence and underwriting information is properly filed
Reviewing active files regularly to ensure all essential underwriting and security information is current and updated
Preparing draw letters and other documentation
Other ad hoc reporting as requested

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

Two or more years experience
Post-secondary education in a relatable field, preferably accounting, finance, or commerce
Experience in construction development, understanding with Tarion and Surety is an asset
Prior Experience with Applied/EPIC is a valuable asset
Must be technologically savvy and data-driven, including proficiency in Excel
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development including insurance courses and certifications
