Full-Time Underwriter, Equipment Breakdown Insurance
Job Description
Your Impact:
• Underwrite and quote new business, renewals and endorsements in accordance with our underwriting philosophy, rating, loss ratio objectives, service standards and authority levels for Equipment Breakdown business
• Prepare quotes and negotiate as required
• Maintain knowledge of wordings, rating, pricing, limits, and reinsurance
• Actively market and promote the Equipment Breakdown coverage to our broker force
• Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with brokers and internal business partners
• Review and approve referred Equipment Breakdown accounts within assigned authority
• Proactively seek opportunities to incorporate Equipment Breakdown coverage into other lines of business to offer more comprehensive insurance solutions
• Create and deliver training on Equipment Breakdown to our regional offices
• Act as an internal resource for advice and guidance on Equipment Breakdown coverage
• Demonstrate a team-oriented approach to meeting corporate goals and objectives
