We’re looking for a Commercial Underwriters (Property) with strong customer service and relationship building skills.

- can work with our brokers to sell products and negotiate insurance rates & premiums.
- have knowledge of the principles and practice of insurance, underwriting policies and procedures, and applicable insurance products.
- can build strong relationships and offer excellent service.
- want to leverage your leadership skills for good – like actively supporting SGI’s culture, expanding your own learning, and supporting your colleagues as they do the same.
Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma in a relevant field of study, like Business and one year of experience in underwriting for our junior roles and a minimum of 3 years experience for our Intermediate roles.
