POSITION OVERVIEW:
Navacord is hiring technical talent in the insurance industry! We are accepting applications for those who want to play a lead role in the adoption of broker technology tools, including Applied System’s Epic and CSR24. We are looking for someone who is motivated by a fast-paced environment where technical standards and practices are valued. This role will work with Navacord’s Broker Partners and third party solution providers and requires someone with an IT background looking to interact and collaborate with engaged stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applications/Solutions Training
- Identify, assess and develop training programs that address specific Broker Partner needs and improves IT’s service delivery and user experience.
- Develop and implement training documentation (processes, procedures, checklists, manuals).
- Coordinate train the trainer sessions and Broker Partner training by vendors during implementations.
- Facilitate regular refresher training as prioritized by the Broker Partners.
- Work effectively in a projectized, cross-functional environment through collaboration and planning and disciplined execution on interdependent activities.
- Drive brand value and philosophy through all training and educational activities.
Applications/Solutions Support
- Support and monitor the effectiveness of all digital training, reporting on adoption rates by formulating meaningful KPIs.
- Help manage workflow performance, and optimization activities in line with response/completion/quality SLAs, communicating clearly and professionally with Broker Partners.
- Share knowledge of application-usage best practices, while driving and monitoring optimized adoption and usage.
- Work with vendors to gather invoices for M&A activity and regular delivery/support of third parties, sending them to the appropriate Broker Partners for payment.
- Formulate vendor common costs reports for Finance, identifying the appropriate cross-charge for each Broker Partner.
- Monitor license usage, suggest additions/deletions and adjust cross-charging formulas accordingly.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be someone who loves teaching others
- Self-driven and confident approach to tackling accountabilities with pace
- College diploma or university degree in IT, training, education, or related field
- Working knowledge of Canada’s P&C and/or Benefits insurance industry is a must
- Strong teaching and technical skills with minimum of 2 years of experience in either an insurance environment or teaching/training environment
- Knowledge of Applied System’s suite of applications, including Epic and CSR24 is very desirable
- Experience in choosing learning solutions that help meet the business objective of technology adoption
- Experience in gaining business value from technology by influencing user behaviours and improving their related skills
- Some experience in the gathering and defining of business requirements
- Excellent customer service, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Quick learner who stays current and transfers learned knowledge effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of Navacord’s entrepreneurial culture and growth strategy
- Willing to travel to Navacord offices across Canada, as required
