Our client is one of Canada’s leading Independent Insurance Brokers with a unique mix of commercial expertise in several industry niche markets, Private Clients insurance, and corporate group benefits consulting.
Objective:
They seek a Training and Development Coordinator to drive and strengthen their committment to change through education both internally and externally.
Develops and delivers training, educational programs and on-the-job learning initiatives, such as workflow and procedures, insurance education, system training, soft skills training, advisory projects.
Essential Functions:
- Devise & implement training solutions, lectures, conferences, demonstrations, group and individual instruction strategies to reach target audience
- Consistently improve and benchmark employees engagement scores through development & facilitation of corporate values
- manage and coordinate available training resources both internal and external
- measure program results and improve effectiveness of training and development initiatives by monitoring feedback and adjusting program objectives
- Work with brokerage operations to improve workflows, develop metrics for analysis
- Partner with departments to improve service delivery, training performance and support to improve operational effectiveness
- Conduct one on one and refresher training on an as needed basis
- Co-ordinate and facilitate the On-boarding of new team members

Qualifications:
- University Degree Preferred
- Bilingual (French) would be an asset
- RIBO, CAIB, CIP would be an asset
- 4-6 yrs of Insurance Industry experience
- Strong Background in Instructional Design
- Must be Comfortable and Proficient in electronic and Virtual environment
- Proficiency in TAM and EPIC an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word & Powerpoint.
