We are currently focusing on TSRs who will eventually become more to a CSR role. The typical situation would be young and driven that don’t have room to move in their current company. They should have 1-2 years of experience and be comfortable on portals.
TSR – TECHNICAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
This is a progressive position with a wonderful opportunity to grow and advance your insurance career within our brokerage.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide exceptional customer service and an excellent experience at every interaction
- Support the sales and service functions (uploading policies on insurance company portals, providing quotations to customers and brokers etc.)
- Process renewals and endorsements on company portals
- Set up pre-authorized payments and send payment reminders when necessary
- Document claims information on files
- Issue Temporary Liability Cards and Insurance Certificates for customers
- Know, understand and be ready to learn some of our current insurance companies’ portals including: Intact, Aviva, RSA, Economical, Travelers, Chieftain, Echelon, Perth, Jevco among others.
- Office administration and reception. Some administrative tasks include: eDocs download, reconciliations, mailing, manage supplies etc.
- Able to take on other tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- RIBO license
- 1 or 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and desire to accomplish great things
- Very strong attention to detail
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
