THE OPPORTUNITY
The primary function of the System Administrator/Innovator is to support the organization through process innovation, system management, training, business operations, account management, and financial reporting. The position relies on data management, attention to detail, reporting, coordination and the follow-through in support of our organizational goals.

As the System Administrator/Innovator, you are a self-starter, proficient in working with systems, proactively finding more efficient and productive workflows in supporting internal and external customers.

You are a highly organized and results-oriented individual who demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork, and grace under pressure while completing all projects on time, on budget, to the highest of standards, quality, and professionalism

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the System Administrator/Innovator, you will provide operational and technical support including:
• Develop, implement, monitor, and improve work processes throughout the company, including identification and adoption of best in class workflow practices
• Develop and deliver training on systems including creating and update training manuals
• Work closely with support from Applied Systems, related seminars, and other forums and user groups with an awareness of the industry and technical trends
• Build and generate standard and custom EPIC reports
• Monitor and maintain EPIC security, CSR24, Applied University, templates, and forms
• Administer other assigned software, facilitate ongoing improvement and monitoring of the workflow, policies, and procedures
• Demonstrate outstanding levels of service, quickly responding to all requests for support
• System administration additional systems such as Office 365
• Determines the most effective manner to resolve technical issues. Engages in research and in-depth troubleshooting

 

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Information Technology, Business or Insurance
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical support environment
• Advanced knowledge of MS-Word/Excel and other Microsoft products
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reporting
• Outstanding ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• A team player able to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures
• Knowledge of Broker Management Software (EPIC) considered an asset
• Experience in the Insurance Industry is preferred
