Our client, a well-established North American Insurance company, is looking to add top performers to its team in Toronto for this high profile area – as a team leader and as a senior Adjudicator. With both roles, they are looking for demonstrated depth of prior experience with complex claims, including benefit calculations, understanding when/if to refer to internal/external parties for deeper evaluation, etc.
As a strong contender for these opportunities, your prior progressive experience in Life Claims adjudication will be complemented with relevant post-secondary education (ALHC designation an asset, as are bilingual skills in French or Spanish). Your demonstrated experience with claims adjudication should include an understanding of insurance medicine and actuarial principles as related to claims as well as demonstrated knowledge of claims adjudication regulation across North America.
You are a proven self-starter, able to prioritize, and demonstrate sound business judgment and solid analytical/research skills. You bring superior communication (verbal/written) skills and the potential to take on additional responsibilities where required.
