Job Description
PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE UNDERWRITER, E&O/D&O/FINANCE/CONSTRUCTION LINES
DESCRIPTION
• Underwrite and service renewals according to program and contract guidelines
• Develop, underwrite and service new business in accordance with program and contract guidelines or as a wholesaler
• Develop business relationships with existing and new brokers through marketing visits
• Liaise between brokers and insurers to negotiate and determine insurance terms
• Represent the company at industry events as required
PROFILE
– A minimum of 3 years of professional insurance experience (E&O, D&O, finance lines, construction)
– Hold or be in the process of obtaining an AAP or insurance degree is a strong asset
– Advanced level of English and French, oral and written, essential
– Ability to analyze and make decisions under pressure
– Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
– Ability to adapt and learn quickly and independently
– Excellent negotiation skills
– Good sense of responsibility and priorities
