PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Ontario Private Investigation license (licensed in other provinces is an asset)
- Valid G-Class Driver’s Licence
- Valid Canadian Passport
- Use of a reliable motor vehicle that is suitable for surveillance (SUV or Van)
- Comfortable with the use of a computer, standard programs, and use of online data resources
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight
- Ability to travel throughout the province of Ontario
- Must have proven experience in surveillance and a strong background relating to insurance investigations
- Ability to work with another team member as well independently with minimal supervision
- Conduct surveillance of both stationary and mobile subjects in a covert manner
- Prepare concise and accurate investigation notes
- Obtain professional, quality video (in HD format) which will meet the requirements of our clients
- Own high quality hand held and pinhole camera equipment, and possesses a sound knowledge of operating this equipment
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills and the ability to write detailed, comprehensive reports
- Ability to approach a problem from different perspectives and explore all angles, using an investigative mindset
- Maintain verbal and/or electronic daily contact with management regarding case activity
- Must be discreet and comfortable handling sensitive information
- Must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, communication and investigation skills
- An analytical thinker with advanced problem solving skills
- Extremely organized, concise with excellent reporting writing skills
- Multiple languages is an asset.
COMPENSATION
- Hourly rate to be determined based on experience and qualifications.
