Job Description
PERSONAL LINES TEAM LEADER
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Continue to maintain and service an existing book of business
Training and development of new and existing staff
Assist to ensure company standards and procedures are followed
Reference for staff with respect to inquiries and question and provide assistance
Recognize areas that require training and assist with implementation of procedures
Assist department Manager and/or V.P. with team meetings and monthly desk audits
In the absence of department Manager:
Monitor to ensure adequate staffing, ie., work hours, lunch breaks and vacations
Vacation and time off approvals
Delegation of work, provide direction and guidance to internal team
Handling complaint calls
Decision making with respect to client files
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years Personal Lines brokerage experience
RIBO Licence required
Other industry designations such as CAIB, CIP, etc., would be considered an asset
Skills:
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Someone who is fair, kind , respectful and an example of integrity
This leader will be required to be influential in managing change in the workplace
Confidently lead and motivate the team in order to meet the organization goals and objectives
Proficient in The Agency Manager (TAM) and MS Office products
