RIBO licensed Personal Lines Sales Assistant

Our growing Oakville client is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their busy team.

They are a family operated organization founded in 1954, servicing all of Ontario with personal, commercial and financial insurance advice.

The current opening requires the candidate to hold a valid RIBO license and provide assistance to the personal lines sales department.
The position is well suited to a newly licensed broker wishing to begin their career in the insurance brokerage industry.

Daily duties:
Receiving incoming calls to guide the clients in setting up new insurance packages
Send and receive both automobile, property and recreational applications using their electronic program
Ensure all documents are properly completed
Follow up with the clients for any missing documents
Bind coverage once all documents are signed and received
Prepare automobile, property and recreational packages to send out to the insurance companies
Respond to all incoming courier, mail and faxes during the new business process
Preferred knowledge of Power Broker, MS word and Excel
Must be RIBO licensed
