The right candidate for this role is one who is easy to adapt, and thrives on thinking outside the box.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience selling home and auto insurance packages and who is able to work with various lead sources as well as have the ability to generate leads and referrals via their own sources.
- Handle customer inquiries
- Quoting / Closing sales (up sell, cross sell)
- Placing business with the right market
- Vast understanding of insurance company’s products
- Following up on leads
- RIBO License – Min 2 years of experience selling home and auto insurance, preferably in a brokerage environment
- Proven sales track record
Personal Lines underwriting knowledge
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Organizational skills (multi-tasking, time management)
- Understanding of insurance software and rating engines
- Understanding of market relations
- Ability to generate leads via their own sources
