Our client is a small brokerage with little “office politics”. Everyone gets along well and they are more like family. As they are small, business decisions are made quickly with no bureaucratic processes that take a long time to get things decided on and done like in many large offices.

Each staff has their own assigned book of business and each person is responsible for all aspects of handling that book. On top of the salary they offer a $25 bonus for each auto, home, commercial application written up as new business and $10 for each tenant and condo new business application, that come from x-selling and house referrals.

They do not have a benefits package and this is why they have the bonus structure mentioned above to make up for this. They also tend to pay a little more salary than they ask for as compensation for no benefits plan. They will pay for continuing education. There is free parking. Their hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday. Their office is in an industrial condo with private cubicles for each staff. They are using Power Broker and Applied. Yes, they would be willing invest in training for the right person if they are not familiar with them.
