Job Description

Our client is a major insurance brokerage firm with a branch office in Mississauga now looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

·         Provide service to our Personal Insurance clients

·         Process renewals, policy changes, cancellations and claims transactions in accordance with company workflows and quality service standards

·         Handle incoming calls, e-mails, faxes and walk-ins

·         Prepare quotes, cross-sell, upsell and remarket clients as necessary

·         Function as the front line underwriter ensuring all risks are properly qualified and insured

·         Review policy wordings and documents to ensure accuracy and adequacy of coverage

·         Process transactions into various insurance company portals or as per company workflows require

·         Maintain client records & documentation using in our BMS (Applied TAM)

·         Manage Accounts Receivables (collection and reconciliation) as is required

·         Manage follow-up activities

·         Maintain professional business relationships with industry partners

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Minimum High School Diploma but Post-Secondary Education is an asset

·         RIBO licensed and current with continuing education requirements

·         3-5 years of Personal Insurance experience

·         Enrolled or working towards C.A.I.B. or C.I.P. Designations

·         Working knowledge of TAM or similar BMS

·         Familiarity with MS Office suite of products
