Account Manager, Financial Services – Belleville
We are currently looking for a candidate to join our Financial Services team to specialize in the service of Group Benefits and Group Retirement plans.
The qualified candidate will have a superior working knowledge of Group Benefit and Group Retirement plans, with preferably experience on both the sales and service side of the business.
They will be expected to provide service to multiple account managers with a diverse existing block of business on both the Group Benefit and Group Retirement plan lines of business. They will be expected to co-ordinate and manage relationships between insurance carriers and account managers, as well as provide various reports to the Financial Services Division Manager. They will obtain and manage the quoting and renewal process for both new and existing business with the account manager.
They will act as an advocate for our clients with the insurer and will provide service directly to plan administrators and plan members in person, by phone and email.
They will function as part of a team in the Financial Services Division and will be expected to act as the back up on other lines of business (life insurance, living benefits, investment, etc).
Must have exceptional customer service and organizational skills
A valid life license and mutual fund license is preferred
Must be sales oriented and have a working knowledge of Group Benefit and Group Retirement plans
Must act in a professional manner at all times and maintain a position of trust and confidentiality
Must act in an open, respectful, honest and helpful manner with all team members, clients and other staff
Must have familiarity with computer systems (Microsoft Office), including Customer Relationship Management systems, such as ACT!
