$40,000 – $60,000 Starting salary depending on experience. Signing bonus available
An AC&D Personal Lines Insurance Representative handles all types of personal insurance (standard, high value, and hard-to-place), pleasurecraft, and travel medical insurance.
There is potential for continuous remote working opportunity for the right individual.
The preferred candidate will have.
o minimum 6 months experience in personal insurance
o Carries a minimum General Agent Level 1 Insurance License through the Insurance Council of British Columbia
o Technologically proficient, with the ability to learn and adapt to new programs such as Broker Management Systems, Rating Systems, and Company Portals.
Additional Responsibilities:
New Business & Lead Generation:
o Demonstrate needs-based sales behavior, including reactive and tag-on selling, building additional relationships with new customers sourced by digital leads, asking for referrals, generating new business, and increasing customer retention.
o Maintain a diary of prospective clients and follow-up on digital sales leads.
o Review and work renewal lists.
Customer Service & Producer Support:
o Provide friendly, professional service to customers and producers
o Handle routine customer inquiries/concerns
o Handle claims procedures as they arise
o Ensure work is prompt, efficient and accurate
Administration:
o Process payments
o Contact outstanding accounts receivable.
o Maintain expiration and abeyance files
o Ensure all documents are accurate and files are kept in an orderly manner
Team Support:
o Lead by example, being a positive role model
o Contribute to a positive team environment by working efficiently, professionally, and in a friendly manner
o Improve our organization by sharing ideas and opinions, contributing and building communication in all directions and levels
o Assist others as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
