The Personal Lines Broker will be primarily responsible for the ongoing management of a personal lines book, New Business, retention of new and renewal clients while upholding high service standards. These duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide new business quotes for phone-in and walk-in clients
• Prepare new business applications
• Process new business, renewals, endorsements- policy uploads on company portals
• Ensure the quality of business renewed or re-written meets guidelines
• Respond to all client requests and inquiries in a prompt and professional manner
• Prepare and review insurance documentation for adequacy and accuracy
• Process and invoice new business policies, renewals and endorsements, including letters to the client.
• Issue binders, certificates or proofs of insurance and liability slips
• Complete EZ-ITV home replacement cost evaluations
• Order MVR and Autoplus reports
• Reporting new claims
• Cross-sell and up-sell
• Manage abeyances and other time-sensitive paperwork

Qualifications:

• Must be RIBO licensed
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Preferably 2-3 years of personal lines experience
• Superior communication and client service skills
• Applied Epic is an asset
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
