Our client, a very reputable insurance brokerage firm located in East York – GTA and looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their growing team. They offer insurance resources and solutions for Personal Lines as well as Commercial.

The Role:
This salaried position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing full service to Personal Lines clients. This individual will work with a team of professionals. You will work with producers, insuring partners and your assigned portfolio of clients handling renewals, endorsements, assessing risk exposures, providing recommendations for a suitable insurance program, guiding them through claims, preparing applications and proposals, etc. Suitable candidates should have a solid base of insurance technical knowledge that will enable them to provide the best insurance program and professional expertise for clients.
Handle policy change requests and policy cancellations
Resolve customer service-related inquiries
Quote new business, up-sell and cross-sell as required
Follow underwriting guidelines for all major markets
Develop relationships with insureds and underwriters
Maintain a high level of customer service standards
Experience:
RIBO License in good standing
Minimum 2-4 years experience in a service environment (Personal Lines)
Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance
Prior experience working with broker systems
High level of communication skills both written and verbal
Well organized and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
Prior experience working with MS Office Product
