Fantastic Position in Markham – Personal Lines Account Manager
Requirements:
- University degree
- Insurance industry experience with a brokerage preferred
- R.I.B.O licensed
- Working knowledge of The Agency Manager (TAM) system preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High performance and high level of productivity
- Team player able to work closely with other team members
- Positive & outgoing attitude
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, and follow-up on uncompleted tasks
- Bilingual in French preferred but not required
- Aviation or Commercial insurance experience is a definite asset, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Update underwriting information on TAM
- Prepare insurance binders & certificates
- Prepare marketing submissions and client presentations
- Prepare customer invoices & billing material
- Prepare premium financing quotes & contracts
- Issue requests to insurers for policy changes & endorsements
- Process policy changes and renewal updates
- Assist with updating online policy documents on TAM
- Provide support to Account Managers as required
- Collect, prepare, and post outgoing mail
- Reception & Office Administration Back-up
- Prepare quotations and update policy information on Lincq system (insurer EDI processing tool)
