Full-Time PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER/ADVISOR

This position is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of customer needs, marketing and making changes to existing accounts. The Broker will act as a professional intermediary working directly with existing clients, prospects, underwriters and the Partners. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be part of a team whose core objective is to maintain a high level of professionalism while exceeding expectations at each client interaction.
Business Development and Remarketing
Prepare and complete applications, endorsements, binders and invoicing using TAM and carrier portals
Gather underwriting information, such as ordering MVR’s, Autoplus, Hits and Ezitv
Perform quotation transactions (Compu-Quote)
Recommend additional coverages and pursue cross selling / up selling opportunities
Meet with clients offsite to deliver group program presentations (some travelling required)
Send marketing material, emails, and other forms of correspondences to customers, through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media mediums
Analyze daily premium comparison reports provided by management
Renewals
Perform annual renewal reviews and risk exposure analysis of policies
Provide competitive quotes to clients
Process insurance policy changes, renewals and cancellations
Communicate and confirm coverages to clients
Maintain control of renewal expiration lists, binders, audits, and aged receivables
Customer Service
Formulate and foster strong working relationships with the client and insurance company underwriters
Respond to client inquiries, company requests and insurance company representatives via telephone, incoming e-mail and mail
Provide customers detailed explanations on products and services
Advise clients regarding insurance coverage(s) and risk management issue
Prepare proof of insurance (binders and endorsements) for financing and lease companies
Perform other related duties and special projects, as required
Agency Management / File System
Update and maintain electronic client files in TAM and ensure all required documentation and activities are recorded
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
RIBO Licence
Three (3) to five (5) years’ of personal lines experience in a brokerage environment
Thorough understanding of personal lines underwriting and coverages
Able to upload and process new business and policy changes to company portals
Familiarity with The Agency Manager (TAM) and/or Compuquote
