Full-Time Junior Customer Service Broker
Job Description
Service:
· Providing effective customer service support to Personal Lines and Commercial lines Customer Service brokers. Eventually transitioning to a position managing an assigned book of buisiness in Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and surrounding area
· Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of all client and insurer communications
· Renewal review to ensure retention targets are met
· Resolving client concerns and complaints while ensuring that Service Excellence Standards are met.
· Providing customers with professional and expert advice in all area of personal lines insurance
· Responding to all service related inquiries; policy changes, new business, re-marketing and claims support,
Sales:
· Achieving set sales targets through client referrals, up-selling and cross-selling insurance
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma
· 1 – 3 years’ experience in an insurance customer service role or call center service/sales environment
· RIBO or willingness to convert OTL License required
· Ability to work in a fast paced high volume environment and strong multitasking skills
· Customer focused
· Effective organizational skills and time management
· Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written skills
· Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
· Experience with insurance systems i.e. Insurance Company Portals, Applied Rating Services and TAM an asset
