Full-Time Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Duties:

  • Quote, Review and Place Business
  • Upload of Information and Changes to Portals
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with Insurers and clientele
  • Read and understand manuals and company correspondence to use as reference for regular tasks and job duties
  • Aid colleagues where needed
  • Review policies and spreadsheets for accuracy, contracts and report claims
  • Advise clients on claim procedures and explain changes, coverage, and benefits
  • Enter and maintain information for new clients and modify information as required
  • Make changes to clients’ policies, explain coverage, and remarket policies for better premiums
  • Calculate premiums and mid-term changes
  • Respond to client inquiries/issues within established timelines/service standards
  • Maintain up to date records, expiry lists, daily abeyances
  • Manage day to day problems for clients requests and amendments
  • Maintain database of client conversations
  • Follow up with Insurers/Customers for outstanding information, endorsements, policy documents
  • Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 3+ Years Personal Lines Experience
  • R.I.B.O.
  • Proficiency With Tam (The Agency Manager)
  • Proficiency with Compu-Quote
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Insurer Portal Use both for Quoting, Wordings and Amendments
  • Ability to Work Independently
  • Client Service Focused
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
