PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER

Position Summary:

As an Account Manager (CSR), you are responsible for servicing all aspects of our customer’s Home & Auto insurance needs. We are looking for someone who can bring excellent service levels that will allow us to develop and retain a loyal customer base.

Your Tasks:

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone/email, including office visits
  • Review annual renewals recommending coverage options to customers
  • Executing policy changes & preparing quotes
  • Fully conversant with product offerings and underwriting criteria
  • Counsel customers with claims reporting & be an active advocate
  • Foster strong working relationships with Insurance company underwriters
  • Accurate and complete system entry and documentation
  • Attend and offer input at regularly scheduled department meetings.
  • This position will deal primarily with Personal Insurance accounts (Home & Auto)

 Minimum Requirements:

  • RIBO licensed (or OTL with the ability to obtain RIBO quickly)
  • Exceptional customer service skills including strong written and oral abilities
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Affinity for working in a team environment with a positive attitude & strong work ethic
  • Added skills preferred (but not mandatory):
    • 2 years of industry experience
    • TAM (Applied Systems & Applied Rating) knowledge
    • Bilingualism (English & French)
