Responsibilities:
o Provide prompt and efficient customer service
o Active in front-line underwriting to ensure risk meets internal and insurance company guidelines
o Cross selling and upselling policies. Ensure proper coverage is provided based on client’s needs
o Earn commission on new policies you quote and bind through referral leads
o Detailed documentation in broker management and insurance company portals
Qualifications:
o Minimum 3 years insurance experience
o RIBO License required
o Other industry qualifications, such as CIP & CAIB, would be considered an asset
o Experience with Sig, Applied Rating Services, AS400, and other company portals an asset
o Strong verbal and written skills
o Effective organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
