Full-Time PERSONAL INSURANCE-SALES AND SERVICE

Job Description

Our client is looking to add to their team a Personal Lines team.  Their corporate culture is about building relationships with insureds and employees, and insurance companies. Our client prefers to promote from within and as a result, they have very little turnover.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding service and an excellent customer service experience for insureds
  • Communicate with insureds via phone and/or email
  • Complete new business applications, policy changes, review renewals, upsell and cross-sell
  • Build ongoing strong relationships with company underwriters
  • Quote and close new business when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in a broker environment
  • RIBO license in good standing
  • College or university education
  • Working knowledge of all major markets
  • Experience using broker systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent and strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Enjoy working in a busy environment
