Full-Time Personal Insurance Relationship Manager
Job Description
Our client is a mid sized brokerage located in the 401 and 400 area. Currently having a need to expand their Personal Lines Team are looking for an experienced and mature Personal Lines Broker with excellent communication and customer service skills.
In this role, candidates will primarily be responsible for the retention and growth of a current portfolio of business. This is done through the developing of accounts while quoting and issuing new business as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Being the point of contact for and completing the work associated with renewals, inclusive of reviewing policies and recommending changes to customers
• Advising customers on insurance matters, conducting needs assessments, recommending solutions and answering inquiries
• Writing new business policies with an emphasis on quality risk selection and pricing to maximize underwriting profitability
• Ensuring customer loyalty and satisfaction by offering them the right coverage for their needs
• Liaise with insurance company Underwriters and Adjusters
• Prepare customer documentation such as applications and insurance certificates
• Maintain knowledge of contracted market appetites, binding authorities, specialties and wordings
Skills and Experience:
• High School or Post-Secondary Education required
• Prior insurance experience required (minimum of 3 years)
• Exposure to Applied TAM is an asset
• Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities successfully
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
