The Opportunity: Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading, managing and directing all of the marketing related activities for the Navacord Group of Companies under the direction of our Chief Operating Officer. You will work alongside a team of business leaders, producers and operational leaders to identify, develop and execute the business’s strategic plan. This role will primarily support Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc., but will also provide guidance and support for Navacord Partners nationwide.

Career Scope:
- Responsible to set and execute the Marketing strategy for Navacord and also for our broker partners with tactical level marketing activities.
- Assess each businesses needs and desires to ultimately determine your set of priorities and where the best use of your time will be spent
- In the event one of our businesses has local marketing support, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to execute on the strategic plan set out
- Work closely with our sales professionals, developing and executing on lead generation campaigns that drive business growth for them
- Assist and support broker partners with marketing material for existing clients and prospects as well as supporting and increasing broker partner brand awareness and credibility.
You will also oversee and be held accountable for the following:
- Creating marketing material for internal and external use, increasing brand awareness through various initiatives
- Developing marketing communication programs including offline and online advertising
- Website changes and updates
- Creating press releases and testimonials
- Event/tradeshow coordination
- Establishing our online social media strategy
- Cataloguing marketing merchandise available to staff
- Maintenance and filing of trademark and licensing
What We Value:
- Experience in a large, global, matrix-based Fortune 500 company or consulting firm, with proven strategic marketing, strategy formulation, and product/business positioning skills
- Experience in the insurance, legal or financial industry
- Broad-based business thinker who can collaborate with business leaders, producers and peers
- Marketing expertise in a business-to-consumer environment with significant growth expectation
- Experience with the implementation of growth, new business development and marketing initiatives that provide firm roadmap for a growth business
- Someone who recognizes that leadership is about service to others (not being served)

- 7 years of workplace experience or equivalent combination of workplace experience and education
You Must Have:
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing or related field
- Track record of establishing short- and long-term product growth goals, and then executing operating plans to achieve them
- Solid leadership skills, energy, and teaming capability; the ability to lead and motivate, share vision, inspire, and rally colleagues
