Job Description

Our client is an independent international Insurance Broker with a global network currently covers over 40 offices in 30 countries worldwide.  Our client offers a wider range of services to their clients. They employ a wide range of specialists with expertise in all lines of insurance.  As a growing operation they are currently in need to add a Marine Account Manager to their team.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Operations, the incumbent is a member of the Management team. This individual should be highly motivated; detail oriented and maintains strong communication and relationship building skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

– Collaborate directly with all channels of Company’s sales representatives to offer insurance solutions to current freight / logistics clients
– Monitor incoming Credit Apps and contact clients who have consented to receive information
– Confirm Insurance is being booked in systems after being sold to Clients:
– Identify Gaps in process workflow and provide solutions.
– Document process and workflow for each division
– Correct and fix all files that for example:
– Requested insurance but were not invoiced
– Requested insurance but were not covered
– Changed mode of transportation and expected to be insured
– Create and Coordinate certificates for all registered insurance
– Work with Sales/Telesales/CCR/AM’s to ensure proper usage of online quoting tool
– Monitor # of quotes per week/month/year by sales channels and conduct follow up meetings
– Offer presentations and refreshers on how to sell Company products
– Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to best in class service standards and system utilization
– Develop technical expertise
– Preparation of all client facing documentation including invoices, letters, policy documents, certificates
– Work closely with the Account Executive to service & manage all day to day activity
– Account service co-ordination including review of documentation for routine policy changes, additions,
deletions, renewals or cancellations
– Research and investigate information to enable strategic decisions
– Other duties as may be assigned to you by the Company
– Other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the company

Qualifications:

.  Minimum 3 years insurance experience
.  Team player who is results oriented
.  Knowledge of Epic an asset
.  Computer knowledge in MS 365 products including: Word, Excel, Power Point
.  RIBO License
.  Completed or enrolled in CAIB/CIP/CRM an asset
