Manager – Workforce Recruitment and HR

Our client facilitates contract placements of claims professionals across Canada. This program allows them to provide internal and external clients with skilled claims resources when needs arise within their operations. This service provides their clients with access to a variable workforce of insurance professionals. For their members, they provide employment opportunities customized to each member’s skill set and geographic location, either within their many offices/branches or on-site at a client location. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a strong skills in recruitment and some HR knowledge would be an asset, sales, client relations, operations management, financial management, and project management.

Knowledge and Skills

·         Experience with sales/business development, marketing, and/or client relationship management

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent collaborator with internal and external stakeholders

·         Ability to communicate effectively with various individuals, from front-line staff to C-Suite executives

·         Analytical and mathematical ability Strong financial acumen

·         Team player

·         Strategic thinker

·         Exceptional interpersonal skills

·         Strong communication and language skills

·         Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and Social Media savvy

·         Strong Team Leadership skills

·         Knowledge of HR best practice and employment laws an asset


·         Candidate should have a minimum of: 8 years of progressive business experience in an office environment 5 years’

·         Experience within the insurance industry, HR/Recruitment and business development

·         2 years’ experience leading a team

Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CIP/FCIP designation completed or in progress would be an asset
