SGI CANADA is currently seeking a Manager of our Saskatchewan Commercial Auto Underwriting team. Together with the UW team, this position will establish and maintain relationships with brokers and manage growth and profitability with an emphasis on excellent service standards. This position will build, coach and mentors a team of underwriters that understands and delivers one view of commercial auto underwriting that combines product, technology and services for our broker partners while attracting quality business to SGI CANADA.
Requirements
Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity — after all, we’re counting on you. We are looking for candidates who have a degree in a relevant field of study such as Business or Mathematics & Applied Science and a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Candidates should have at least eight years’ experience comprised of four years leadership experience and four years’ experience in a senior underwriting role. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
