Job Description
Our client founded in 1949, offers high-end specialty claims service for Errors and Omissions, Directors and Officers Liability, Environmental, Commercial Liability and London Programs. Superior customer service is delivered throughout their locations in United States and Canada.
Role
Accountable to manage and adjudicate claims through to conclusion with expertise and professionalism. Also responsible to help support and establish existing client relationships and to form new ones to contribute to future potential growth. Work from home, no road work.
Reporting:
This role reports to the Managing Director
Attributes and Requirements:
Minimum (5) years loss adjusting with a TPA or an Independent Adjusting firm experience with a proven following of clients and a recognizable profile in both the Lloyds & domestic Insurance markets; demonstrated capabilities in as many of the fields of expertise noted below as possible.
Proficient in document management and dissemination of information using (Venue) or similar system.
Demonstrate ability to collaborate in the management of claims with risk managers, vendors, brokers, insurers, and insureds to facilitate the settlement of major losses.
Deep understanding of policy interpretation and regulatory compliance.
Capability to handle claims across multiple jurisdictions and disciplines.
High level of planning and organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral communications skills. Outstanding and timely client reporting and communications skills.
Strong ability to manage Work in Progress and to facilitate timely billing.
Must be in good standing with CIAA and be fully licensed in the jurisdictions in which business is conducted. Licensing in multiple jurisdictions is preferred.
Computer skills (MS Office 365).
CIP or FCIP would be an asset.
