We are a family-run Insurance Brokerage and we are looking for someone who:
- Is a team player and is looking to settle into something long-term;
- Is self-motivated and takes initiative, with responsibility, reliability and minimal supervision;
- Follows and assists in the refinement of our policies and procedures;
- Possesses excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and familiarity with insurance company portals, Applied, and Power Broker considered an assest);
- Enjoys working with (quoting, servicing, and writing new business for) a diverse range of people;
- Is willing to learn and grow personally and professionally.
General Requirements:
- Level 1 or Level 2 general insurance license
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Knowledge of the Insurance Industry and Sales Process
- Commercial experience considered an asset
The Insurance Broker will focus mainly on servicing existing clients, retention, as well as quoting and writing new business. Compensation is dependent upon level of experience.
COVID-19 considerations:
The majority of our Team is currently working remotely from their homes, with limited staff in the office. Clients are required to make appointments, wear masks, and remain in the foyer when visiting the office.
