Customer Service Representative – Concord/Vaughan

Our Client has a great opportunity for a CSR to join a small family brokerage, working along side the Principle.  Established over 50 years ago, they pride in providing excellence. Exciting opportunity exposed to both Personal Lines and Commercial products (Small Business to Mid).
As CSR your essential functions include supporting and providing exceptional client experience. Meeting sales, service, and quality standards adopted by the agency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Review current client coverage and recommendations, to ensure high quality coverage managing any gaps.
Process renewals and remarkets, as needed.
Assist clients through full process of changes, complete all service requests to completion.
Handle direct billed “walk in” payments. Verify coverage status processes, as appropriate. Issue receipt.
Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals, electronically.
Advise, assist clients in submitting claim report.
Maintain efficient electronic files and information, following agency standards.
Surveys- insured loss exposures and recommend coverage at every service opportunity.
Process incoming mail requests and responds promptly and appropriately.
Verify accuracy of all direct bill cancellation notices, and take appropriate action.
Implement agency credit and collection policy in regard to agency-billed personal lines clients.
Personal and Organizational Development:
Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverage’s, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current.
Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communications skills, cooperate positively and provide information and guidance, as needed, to contribute to the business efforts of the agency.
Maintain and update technical manuals, perform technical tasks and expedite customer service requests.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by agency management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must have and maintain a valid RIBO license.
Experience with TAM, CQ and Outlook
College education or equivalent insurance experience.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others , interpret complex information, respond appropriately.
Ability to understand written and oral communication, interpret abstract information.
Full knowledge of insurance products and markets.
Adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and underwrite assigned client and prospect lists.
Ability to utilize computer programs and understand functionality.
