Full-Time Customer Service Account Manager – Commercial Lines

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Account Manager will be responsible for all aspects of performing the day-to-day functions of servicing and retaining existing clients and generating and placing new business.

Job Duties:

  • Provide superior customer service to existing and prospective clients
  • Achieve a high level of retention and sales based on leads provided or set quotas
  • Follows all office and company policies and procedures, including documentation, security, privacy and quality protocols
  • Manage a book of business of varying volume and class of commercial lines products
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients by meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Work Independently and as a Team player to assist other staff as required
  • Work and support Producers if required
  • Knowledge of personal lines products to provide service to related risks as necessary
  • Design insurance plans for clients
  • Inform clients on developments/trends/legislation in relation to their risk management program
  • Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures; document electronic files accordingly
  • Provide renewal review, coverage analysis and remarketing as necessary
  • Ability to compose and prepare professional, formal letters and correspondence
  • Consulting clients on change requests, and immediately advising insurers of any changes to the applicable policy(s), and claim reporting
  • Invoicing and premium collection as necessary
  • Broad knowledge and experience of general commercial insurance
  • Keep up-to-date with industry changes and market requirements including training seminars and independent study
  • Consistent use of scripting and tracking for existing and new business
 Technical and Skill Requirements
        RIBO Licensed
  • CAIB and/or CIP
  • Minimum four years commercial insurance experience
  • TAM experience preferred
  • PolicyWorks, Word, Excel preferred
