Full-Time Corporate Underwriting Analyst (Regional)

We are looking for an experienced underwriter to join our Corporate Underwriting Training team!
SGI CANADA is currently searching for a Corporate Underwriting Analyst with relevant experience in Personal, Commercial or Automobile product lines.
The Corporate Underwriting Analyst is responsible for assisting in the creation and deployment of training deliverables for all product lines and regions at SGI CANADA. Under the guidance of the Manager, Corporate Underwriting Training, you will share your underwriting expertise to play a key role in training, coaching and mentoring individuals and teams to increase their level of performance to support the growth, profitability, retention of the product line and consistency of all training materials and information.
You will work collaboratively with impacted teams to develop and facilitate training to support improvement initiatives. This role can be located out of any of our Alberta or Ontario offices. Remote work opportunities may be considered.

Requirements
Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity — after all, we’re counting on you. For our Corporate Underwriting Analyst, here are some things we’ll look for:
- Knowledge of adult education principles and the ability to facilitate training activities.
- Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Business.
- Six years experience consisting of two years in insurance and four years in underwriting (Personal, Commercial or Automobile product lines).
- Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
