As a Commercial Underwriter, you need to be someone who wants to make an impact. You believe in a common sense approach to rating, underwriting, and file documentation. Most importantly, your extensive knowledge allows you to customize your approach and keep complex coverage simple and relatable.

What you’ll bring to the table:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a commercial underwriting role with a focus on property, auto, or ideally a mix of both.
Post-secondary education.
CIP designation, or current progress, or interest in working towards one.
Excellent verbal and written communication, superior customer service skills, excellent time management skills.
Proficient with computer applications including MS Office, with experience in Guidewire an asset.
Interested in continued education and professional development.
This is a fully remote position.
