Job Description
- Assist with the day- to- day functions within the commercial insurance new business team:
- Market new business
- Developing and fostering excellent relationships with insurance carriers to secure the best terms for prospects and clients
- Assist with developing the go to market process for tough risk placement
- Keep current with new commercial insurance products, coverage and market trends
- Confident working on carrier portals and submission systems
- Comfortable doing online carrier, product, and policy details research
- Follow-up on submitted quotes
- Prepare insurance proposals for brokers/producers
- All other duties that may be required from time to time
- RIBO Licensed with at least 2-3 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
- Excellent computer skills – Proficient in MS Office suite
- Detail oriented with developed time management skills
- Ability to work well with others throughout the organization
