Commercial Lines Producer: Remote Flexible – FULL TIME
Job Purpose: Develop and manage a Profitable Commercial Lines Portfolio of Business
Qualification/Skills:
* Must possess a valid RIBO license in good standing
* 3+ years of Commercial Lines Insurance industry experience a must
* 18 months Business Development and/or Sales experience in a Commercial Brokerage
* Proficient and experienced in SIG-XP, MS Office Suite
* Proficient working with Insurance Carrier Portals including April, Apollo, Aviva, Chubb,Economical, Markel, Premier, Travelers and Wawanesa
* Familiar with Policy Financing Portals, ie. First Insurance
* Experienced using Social Media and/or Digital Marketing to generate leads and business opportunities
* CAIB, CIP, CRM designations (or in progress) an Asset
* Personal Lines Sales and/or Account Management experience an Asset
Technical Skills
Technical Insurance Skills including:
* Generating Business Leads and Opportunities from your own efforts
* Managing your own Commercial underwriting, marketing and submission process
* Commercial Insurance products and coverage knowledge including General Commercial Property and Casualty and Commercial Auto
* D&O, E&O, MediaTech, Cyber Liability product knowledge and experience is an Asset
* Experience invoicing and managing receivables for your Clients
* Experience supporting Clients through the Claims and settlement process
* Comfortable with technologies and systems currently used in the insurance industry including Company and MGA Quote & Issue Portals
* Legislative obligations
