Commercial Lines Marketing – Toronto
Comma Recruitment have a full time opportunity for a Marketer to provide applications and marketing information to producers, review submissions for completion, assist producers with information required, coverage analysis, make recommendations regarding terms and coverage.
Support the sales team and assist the account managers with marketing renewals by building and fostering strong relationships with staff, producers and underwriters.
Prepare proposal presentations and binders as required, negotiate and place new and renewal commercial business with standard or specialty markets. Build a relationship with underwriters through professional risk submissions, attending market meetings, attending insurer functions and earning a reputation for being thorough, honest and fair.
Maintain current knowledge of the markets underwriting appetite and coverage development
Continue Commercial Insurance education through industry seminars and certification programs such as CAIB and CIP. provide technical support to staff ,track quote success, follow up for policy documents, check documents for accuracy.
You will be joining the marketing team, training will be provided but experience in a similar role or working in an insurance brokerage or Insurance company is a great asset, experience with commercial lines in a sales or service capacity.
Must have superb written and oral communication skills, the ability to liaise at all levels and the confidence to establish yourself in a marketing team.
