Our client Downtown Toronto is looking for the following Commercial Lines CSR for their small business unit:
RIBO license in good standing
Manage a designated portfolio of client accounts
Maintain excellent client relationships to maximize retention
Maintain relationships with company underwriters and claims adjusters
Continuous service based on customer needs, advising on insurance matters, assessing needs, exposing gaps in coverage, recommending solutions, answering inquiries
Renewal review assessments – check for accuracy, adequate coverage, limits and closing gaps in coverage
Remarkets as required
Identify up-sell opportunities and provide clients with expanded product offerings
Stay current on underwriting rules and guidelines
Processing renewals and endorsements
Provide claims advise and liaise with company reps as needed to deliver a positive claims experience
Provide training for new hires
Serve as a mentor for junior CSR’s
Follow up on leads provided by the brokerage
Contact prospective clients
Qualify new customers
Work with our insurance companies to negotiate rates
Prepare quotes to present to the insured
Submit description of client’s business
Determine best product from market responses
Review quotes to ensure accuracy
Presentation to client
Request required changes
Outgoing personality

Proficiency in Outlook, Word and TAM
