Part-Time Commercial Lines CSR / Account Manager

We love working with Entrepreneurs and are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented RIBO-licensed Broker to support our Business Clients. If you are looking for a flexible, work-from-home opportunity with 20-30 hours per week, this is the opportunity for you.
Job Purpose:
- To provide assistance processing new and renewal commercial lines business and managing on-going policy requirements
- Act as primary point of contact for Commercial Clients providing in-house customer service to clients as requested
- Support Personal Lines team as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Commercial Lines Insurance industry experience a must
- Must possess a valid RIBO license in good standing
- Proficient and experienced in SIG-XP, MS Office Suite
- Experience and interest in Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, WordPress), Google and web-tools an asset
- CAIB, CIP, CRM designations (or in progress) an asset
- Personal Lines Experience an asset
Technical Insurance Skills including:
- Commercial underwriting, submissions and marketing
- Commercial Insurance products and coverage knowledge including D&O, E&O, MediaTech, Cyber an asset
- Invoicing, Finance Quotes and Credit Control procedures
- Claims Process and claims settlement
- Literacy in technology and systems currently used in the insurance industry including Company Portals, MGA “Quote & Issue” Portals and Indio
- Legislative obligations

- Responsible, self-starter will be working remotely
- Very comfortable with Technology
- Organized, imaginative and creative with strong verbal and written skills
- Comfort with conflict and working in a team environment
- Is a Volunteer in their Community
