You would be working with a few producers – Marketing and excelling in service

QUALIFICATIONS:
Current RIBO license
Minimum 5 years Commercial Insurance experience
Working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
CAIB, CIP, CRM – Assets
High performance team player
Positive energy, outgoing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organization skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, and follow-up
Sound Commercial Insurance knowledge and experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Update underwriting information
Potential visits to local based clients
Prepare pre-renewal client material
Prepare submissions to market for new and renewal business
Obtain, negotiate, compare and present terms
Prepare premium comparison tables and marketing lists
Bind coverage and order policies
Review and send out policy documents
Prepare insurance binders, invoices and billing material
Arrange premium financing quotes and contracts
Premium collections
Develop relationship with international broker partners & markets
Review lease and other contracts
Prepare prospect/ client proposals
Have pre-renewal meeting with client
Respond to client inquiries and requests
Correspond with commercial insurance underwriters
Maintain renewal list
Assist clients with completion of applications
Respond to underwriting queries
