Full-Time Commercial Lines Client Service Broker
Job Description
Our Client is a growing brokerage specializing in Commercial Lines business. They are located in an office complex in East Oakville, close to the 403 and QEW. They require a Client Service Representative to support the team, who has a minimum of 5 years Commercial Lines experience, has a RIBO license and is working towards a CIP or CAIB designation.
Duties include:
working in a team environment to ensure client requests are met in a timely, efficient and professional manner
responding promptly and courteously to all incoming inquiries from clients, prospects and underwriters
facilitating information gathering for insurance submissions to underwriters
maintaining files, records, client insurance binders and account spreadsheets
managing policy renewals and endorsements
reviewing policy documentation for accuracy, working with underwriters for corrections/amendments
participating in the marketing of renewal and new business accounts
invoicing and obtaining/processing premium financing contracts
issuing certificates of insurance and Automobile liability cards
supporting the team on new business
multi-tasking and prioritizing.
Qualifications:
RIBO license
minimum 5 years Commercial Lines experience, with strong technical Commercial Lines knowledge
working towards CIP, CAIB or CRM designation is considered an asset
intermediate skills using MS applications – Outlook, Excel, Word including merging documents, and Power Point
detail-oriented, well organized and able to prioritize
energetic, self-directed and able to deal efficiently and accurately with numerous priorities at the same time
strong communication and relationship-building skills
ability to work both independently and in a team environment
