Commercial Lines Account Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a mid size brokerage located in the Richmond Hill area. They are looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the marketing process for an account from the initial submission to the binding of coverage.
  • Day to day mangement and service of mid – large market commercial accounts
  • Determining the appropriate markets to be approached for assigned accounts
  • Assisting the commercial producers in market pick selections
  • Obtaining and analyzing quotations and declinations from various insurance companies
  • Preparing high quality and accurate proposals for presentation
  • Renewals, retention, maintain accounts receivable

Experience Required: RIBO

  • 3- 5 years Broker Experience – Commercial Lines
  • Good problem solving, negotiation, decision making and time management skills
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance coverage, standard industry forms, and various insurance programs
  • Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel and POWER BROKER as asset
