Commercial Lines Account Manager
Our client is a multi-location, diverse, fast-paced insurance brokerage with a 30 year track record of success. In support of their growth, they are currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager who is self-driven, organized and customer focused, for their Richmond Hill head office.
Includes a Group Benefits Plan, vacation and personal days, and active support in furthering your insurance education.
Key responsibilities for this position include
- Providing outstanding service to an existing book of commercial clients (in person, by phone and via email), including identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities
- Working with our external producers to prepare and market new business submissions
- Working with our company partners to negotiate new business and renewal terms
- Reviewing renewals for adequacy of coverage, obtaining updated information, and remarketing of account if required
- Working within the broker management system and insurance company portals
- Assisting colleagues in day to day needs of the business
We’re looking for an individual who is:
- Professional, respectful and positive in all interactions with customers, colleagues and company partners
- Thorough and efficient in handling client calls, and all resulting file activities
- Able to multi-task and quickly adapt to change
- RIBO licensed with at least 1- 5 plus years of commercial lines experience
