Commercial CSR
Our client is a well-established brokerage offering a wide variety of products and services in the Markham area is looking for a Commercial Lines CSR to join their growing team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years insurance experience
- RIBO license a must
Job Description:
- Negotiate coverages, rates and premiums with underwriters and clients
- Market new business and re-market existing business
- Review client risk and prepare comprehensive coverages for specific client needs
- Work closely with claims department to monitor losses and develop risk management techniques
- Prepare correspondence, invoices, endorsements, etc. for assigned accounts with assistance from broker support
Skills:
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in commercial lines insurance
- RIBO license required
- CAIB and/or CIP preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines products and wordings
- proficient computer skills in MS Office (word, excel, outlook)
- Familiarity with TAM would be an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
