Full-Time Commercial Lines Manager
As the AC&D Commercial Lines Manager, you are tasked with motivating and coaching our team to create a positive experience for clients as well as growing the business through strategic planning. Flexibility for partial work from home and/or remote work.
Position Responsibilities & Duties
Process Development & Management:
Develop and implement successful business processes for our commercial lines department.
Execute an annual business plan in order to exceed targets and maximize every opportunity for growth including:
New client development
Introduction of new lines of coverage.
Development of programs for in-house facilities (Lloyd’s+)
Development of open market Lloyd’s opportunities.
Assess and identify current and prospective opportunities to obtain new clients and referral bases.
Engage with our team to deliver an excellent client experience.
Actively participate in both the business and industry communities to build a network of contacts that improve the presence and reputation of the brokerage.
Monitor results and take appropriate actions to ensure targets are met.
Ensure high employee engagement through recruiting, talent management, development, and career planning.
Commitment to continued career development.
Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains and motivates talent.
Support the team of talent to achieve their highest performance potential.
Identify and develop future producer and account management talent.
Assistance with Key Account Retention.
Manage day to day operational aspects of the branch including:
Leadership and management of Commercial Lines support staff and production teams.
Position Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 5 years insurance brokerage experience with focus on commercial lines.
Level 2 General Insurance License.
Designations including CCIB, CAIB, CIP, FCIP or CRM are an asset.
High level of comfort with Technology
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
Base Salary + Annual Growth Target achievement bonus.
